Direct Transfers from Geneva to Samoëns - Les Carroz - Flaine - Morillon - Les Gets
Morillon is one of the 5 linked resorts that make up the Grand Massif.
Transfer times from Geneva airport is 60 minutes if staying in the Village at 700m, if you are having a transfer to Morillon 1100 you can easily add an extra 20 minutes to your transfer. Morillon village at the base of the valley floor you have a gondola that can takes you up to Morillon 1100m which is the mid station. It is possible to ski down to the main village at 700m via a blue run Piste Doina in 2015 a total of 25 snow cannons were added to guarantee snow much later in the ski season.
At 1100m you also have Esserts ski-in ski-out hamlet several apartments offering ski in ski out location. The two main runs from the very top 2200m down to 1100 are tree lined and north facing so keeps good quality snow through the season, a great run for beginners is the green run Marvel 5kms during the February on selected days the marvel is opened as a toboggan run after the lifts are closed this is open for children from 7 years to 13 year of age and a helmet must be worn prices is approx. 7.50 euros.
At the top of Morillon ski area Molliets chair lift the piest L’Arête which is the entrance from the linked areas of Samones or Les Carroz has been made wider making it easier to enter the Morillon ski area. This work was done in the summer of 2015. Morillon is located between Samoens and Les Carroz so a great location if just using the Massif Pass which offer 145 kms of Marked runs or you can take out the Grand Massif pass which gives you 265kms of runs in the 4th largest ski area in France.
